Special Features

• Vented closures are available in Standard CT Closures, Child-Resistant Closures, Dispensing Closures, Linerless Closures, and other Industrial Closures.

• Circumvent® and AirFoil® are patented vented liner systems developed to eliminate the swelling or collapsing of plastic containers by allowing them to “breathe” without leaking. These innovative vented liners replace traditional foam, pulp, paper, or foil liners and provide a non-leaking seal.

​

• Utilize a special hydrophobic material to allow air to pass into or out of the container while preventing liquids from leaking out.

​

• Vented closures utilize a “bi-directional” venting material that allows air to pass in either direction depending upon the conditions. Whether pressure builds-up within the container or a vacuum is formed, Circumvent™ or AirFoil™ will prevent the package from swelling or collapsing, and will act as a sterile barrier.

Push-Pull Style Caps (Water & Sports)

Applications

Sometimes used as an insert/innerseal on plastic bottles to help the seal when

packaging liquids.

​

​

Special Features

• Made from highly flexible Polyethylene, these caps can be used in some

​       applications as an insert or innerseal on a plastic  or glass bottle underneath the

       closure or screw cap.

​

• Highly flexible, they enable snug fits even with smaller dimensions and irregular shapes; 

       they are also easy to remove.

​

• The cone shaped plug molds itself around the sealing areas of the neck finish allowing

       for a more liquid tight seal.

​

​

Sizes & Specifications

Sizes are in millimeters.  Use the “B” dimension to match to the inside neck dimension of the

bottle and the “F” dimension for the outside diameter of the neck finish.

 

Bottle necks of the same size made by different bottle manufacturers can vary slightly in the

wall thickness of the neck, which affects the ID of the neck, thereby affecting the selection of

the “B” dimension.  The inside diameter of the bottle neck must be measured in order to match

up (if possible) with a cap plug.
